ARE YOUR EYES SENSITIVE TO LIGHT?

ARE YOUR EYES SENSITIVE TO LIGHT?

Are you a slave to sunglasses? Or do you just think that they are cool, because most people wear them. Some years ago glasses came out called transitions that changed into sunglasses when you went out into the sunlight so you would not have to have a second pair. Most people found that before wearing them they were not sun sensitive. After wearing them and letting the lens do the work, the eyes became lazy and did not want to do the job anymore, thus the person became sun sensitive and dependent of sun glasses.

The eyes were made to function in light. The muscles around the pupil (called the iris) are designed to function in light and darkness. In daylight the pupil contracts and lets in the exact amount of light so we can see. In darkness it becomes larger, expands and lets more light in so we can see at night. At night the peripheral nerves do our night seeing. In daylight the macular (center of sight) does all of our detailed seeing. When sunglasses are put on this inhibits the muscular functioning of these muscle, thus with lack of use, the muscles are tight and do not do their job. Sunglasses rob the eye of natural functioning.

Sun light is very healthy for the eyes, no matter your eye problem, glaucoma, cataract, astigmatism, nearsightedness, farsightedness and all other eye problems. Eyes need light. Animals that live in darkness are blind. Many years ago, mules were made to work in mines. They became blind and had to be brought out into the sun on a regular basis to regain their sight. In the Eye-Robics program there are specific instructions for overcoming sun/light sensitivity.

Light/sun sensitivity is the first sign of mental strain or tension in the mind. Have you ever noticed after a stressful period such as studying for an exam, or difficult relationship issues, like a divorce, or a death that you were very sensitive to the light? This is a symptom of stress in the mind and is the first symptom that occurs prior to having a vision problem.
